The Leading Young Fellowship
The Leading Young Fellowship is a one-year development program designed to connect and cultivate a pipeline of changemakers who are committed to tackling emerging issues in their communities.
The Program targets a cohort of young individuals in public service. Subsequent phases will be open to young individuals in positions of leadership in governance in elected and appointed positions and beyond. Successful fellows are those who have demonstrated strong personal integrity, a history of social impact, commitment, and concrete connection to the area they serve.
The Inaugural 2020 fellowship program featured 45 young elected leaders across Kenya.
The Leading Young Master Class
The Leading Young Master Class emerged as an advanced learning course for the Leading Young Fellowship alumni. The sessions offered specific additional content towards their leadership growth. In addition, their individual coaching sessions continued to challenge them to goals that are specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time-bound.
In September of 2021, 28 learners completed and graduated from the intensive program of coaching, virtual workshops. All were young parliamentarians serving the public in appointed and elected offices in Kenya.
Leading Young Visionary
The Leading Young Visionary is designed to benefit young people who serve as Pastors and Church Ministers with the same transformational leadership content that was offered to the parliamentarians. The program is also executed for social impact as a way to give back to the community. In 2021 the program engaged 19 participants under 40 years.
